When can you open your Pita Pit store?

Here’s a hypothetical schedule. Unfortunately, since so many variables are beyond our control – such as zoning, building permit issuance, availability of qualified construction crews, etc.—this is a guideline only.

STEPS

Day 1
Candidate submits application
Days 2–4
Application reviewed by Pita Pit Development Team
Candidate contacted by Pita Pit Development Team
Days 5–14
Decision is made by Development Team on approval of candidate
Day 15
Candidate is sent approval letter and disclosure document (AB, ON only)
Days 18–30
Candidate sends Initial franchise fee. (For AB & ON, candidates must
wait 14 days)
Day 25
Location search (upon receipt of deposit):
A Pita Pit development specialist will coordinate with you to begin
the site selection process for suitable locations in your area of
interest. We assist you throughout the entire process from site
selection to a signed lease. All leases are signed by the franchisee.
Day 50
Construction/Buildout: Once a lease is signed, Pita Pit and its agents will
coordinate with you to begin the build-out process, assisting you and your
general contactor from initial drawings to final inspection.
Day 70
Store Opening—Fast Track (from signed lease to opening)
Day 120
Store Opening—Normal (assuming no major delays)
